Education Programme

At the heart of Edgel Mission’s Education Programme is a simple conviction: every child deserves access to quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances.
Why We Do This
Many vulnerable children in Nakuru County face barriers that limit their access to quality education, including poverty, family circumstances, disability, and other social and economic challenges. Without support, these barriers can prevent children from enrolling in school, remaining in school, and progressing through the different stages of education.
Edgel Mission works to address these barriers by providing vulnerable children with access to quality education and the support they need to learn, grow, and pursue a better future.
Our Education Programme
Our programme supports children throughout their educational journey, from early childhood through tertiary education. We seek to ensure that children have the opportunity to access and progress through:
- Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE)
- Primary Education
- Junior Secondary Education
- Senior Secondary Education
- Tertiary Education
Our support includes school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and other educational needs, according to each child’s circumstances and available resources. While we prioritise vulnerable children from Kwa Rhonda and surrounding communities, the programme also supports eligible children from across Nakuru County based on an established assessment process.
Our Commitment
We are committed to ensuring that vulnerable children have equitable access to quality education in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Through education, we seek to help children develop their abilities, achieve their potential, and build a more secure future.

Send a child to school
A gift towards fees, uniforms and learning materials keeps a vulnerable child in the classroom and moving forward.
